My first review on a site of my very own? Of course! The site toontownfriends.com actually started off as part of this site with the subdomain toontown.myfansites.com. It was started as an experiment in the use of free software to make a community driven fansite for the Disney’s MMORPG Toontown Online , that had some of the same and some of it’s own bells and whistles compared to other fansites based on seemingly expensive software.
It started out pretty small in November 2005, now boasting nearly 1000 users as of this writing. With it’s rather rapid growth, it outgrew it’s sub-domain and launched toontownfriends.com to accommodate the new users. I personally think it’s a good site, with user blogs, forum discussion, tips and tricks, although I am not entirely impartial.
